A message from King William County Public Schools:
KWCPS Community,
Beginning June 1, work will begin to repair and replace the failing storm pipe and drainage system around the track at King William High School. The current track, which opened in 2007 and was replaced with rubber in 2016, has served us for many miles but is now in much need of an overhaul.
Once the storm pipe and drainage system phase is complete, the track will be milled, resurfaced, and restriped. The project will take approximately 10 weeks, weather permitting. We know that many of our community members use the track for exercise. We wanted to inform you that during this construction project, the track will be closed as of June 1. We will notify the community when the track reopens.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we undertake this project.
