Overview
The Electoral Board is composed of three members appointed by the county Circuit Court judges (§24.2-106). Each member serves a staggered 3-year term. Duties of the Electoral Board include:
Appointing the General Registrar/Director of Elections to a 4-year term
Appointing Officers of Election
Overseeing elections and reports results to the State Board of Elections
