Administrator's Office

Animal Shelter
The Regional Animal Shelter (RAS) is a municipal facility that provides for the care and welfare of displaced animals from King William and King and Queen Counties.

Building
The Building Department performs inspections of commercial and residential properties for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Housing Guidelines, county ordinances and building codes, and to review and approve plans for new construction.

Children's Services Act (CSA)
The Children's Service Act (CSA) is a state law enacted in 1993 that establishes a single pool of funding to coordinate a system of services for troubled and at-risk youth and their families.

Clerk of Circuit Court
The Circuit Court is the trial court of general jurisdiction in Virginia and has authority to try both civil and criminal cases. Civil cases involve essentially private disputes between two or more parties; criminal cases are proceedings by the State against individuals accused of a crime.

Commissioner of the Revenue
The Commissioner of the Revenue is a constitutional officer elected by the citizens of the County to a 4-year term and is the chief tax assessing officer in King William County.
