Accessibility Services
King William County Government makes every effort to ensure its programs and services are accessible.
Requesting Reasonable Accommodation
Citizens can request accommodations by contacting the department that is providing the program, service, or activity or by contacting the county’s ADA Coordinator, Nita McInteer, at 804-769-4968 or by email.
In most cases, at least three business days’ notice is requested in order for reasonable accommodations to be arranged. Some programs require that requests be made at least two weeks prior to the start of the activity, so check with the specific program and make accommodation requests as soon as possible.
Employment Opportunities with KING WILLIAM County Government
Applicants who wish to request a reasonable accommodation during the recruitment process should contact Human Resources directly at 804-769-4968 or via email.

If you believe a building that has recently been built does not meet the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, please contact the King William County Building Official's Office. Please note that the alleged violation needs to be reported within one year of the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy.
If you wish to file an ADA complaint regarding a facility that is older than one year, complaints should be filed with the United States Department of Justice.
